The lessons in which you find your power, reconnect to your wisdom and learn to
balance your energies are the ones that serve as your most powerful blessings. They
are the ones that lead you to your truth and help release the blocks to the abundant
and joyful living you desire. But they are also the ones that cause you the greatest
hardship, whose learning requires the release of energies you have moved beyond
but may still be connected to and that you see yourself in your full power and divinity.
If you will see each person, situation and event in your life as a blessing you
will begin to see the patterns of healing, the movement of the energies and the
ways in which you can be guided to the understanding you seek on your healing journey.
Release your need to be in judgment of any situation as good or bad and instead,
seek the truth it holds for you. Then you will find the wisdom and understand that
are the true blessings of your journey, which will lead you to release, peace and

Talk about abundant blessings! Yesterday for my birthday this blog generated $0.56! With this many blessings, I am going to take some time off to think about my blessings…….

There are no “good” or “bad transits, either way, having a transit is a blessing!
This week, Venus offers both blessings and challenges, depending on how consciously you look at it!

Another interpretation, or lesson, from Venus conjoining Uranus is to be more conscious of your money. Venus rules money. Uranus is about consciousness. I just got an email from a trusted source saying that big companies are using a creative concept called “forced continuity” to charge you monthly for something you thought was a one-time purchase. Are you being included in a group that costs monthly? If you don’t want to be fooled, read what you sign and check your billing statements! What you get “for free” may not be!

Sunday’s FULL MOON is a peak of AMPLIFICATION. Whatever is happening, expect a lot more of it!
It can be an opportunity— or you can be an opportunist! Grabbing way more than your “fair” share, because after all, when it comes to you, why limit yourself!!!
Full Moons illuminate oppositions. This Full Moon (in Virgo-Pisces) amplifies the distinction between hoping something works out– and KNOWING something will work out. We hear that the Law of Attraction only returns what you send, you receive what you send vibrationally. If you are sending hopes and wishes because you are lacking something you want, you will continue to receive the lack you feel. Because that is how you are vibrating.
There is a big difference in how you feel– and how you vibrate– when you hope for something and when you KNOW you have to make something work. When you KNOW, you make a choice. Sunday morning’s FULL MOON is a peak of AMPLIFICATION. Whatever is happening, expect a lot more of it!
This weekend, Mercury will conjunct Neptune. Dreams and intuitions contain the real instant messages now. The question is, how can you be more open to your inner vision? And you’re not done there! Once you open to your spiritual self, how can you share your insights?
If you can trust your dream-teacher, or imagination, you can give and receive inspiration that can give you new information and energy– because you’re going with the flow as opposed to feeling blocked and having to fight your way through everything. There is a message trying to come through dreams and imagination this week that can give you inspiration— the natural attitude adjustment. Your trust and generosity can come back to you– if you can be open to it. And today you can find new ways to open to your intuition.
Anyway, that’s how it looks “on paper”, and that’s what your “normal” astro stuff site will say— although when this aspect is exact in the sky, the Moon opposes in Leo. So it is very easy for our egos, unchecked and unbalanced with the rest of ourSelves, not to believe a word of what our dreams, intuitions, and spiritual guides are trying to say.
Unlike opportunity, inspiration doesn’t knock loud. It kinda hangs around, hovering, and if you tune in, you get it. Otherwise, it drifts off….. If you don’t use inspiration, inspiration moves on. It is in search of a channel who is willing to believe in it and use it as a resource. If you don’t value the inspiration you receive because it doesn’t seem to be instantly valuable, you can miss out on a brilliant idea or genius upgrade this week! Or even an abundant windfall.

Pisces and Fantasy
Pisces gets a bad rap. Wishy washy. Undecided. Flimsy. Phony. Flaky. No one home. Off in LaLa Land. These are all things they call PIsces, although It’s not their name!!! Pisces is lucky enough (yes they are lucky, ruled by Jupiter) to have a foot in 2 worlds– the real and the unconscious. PIsces is the shoreline– the unfirm, shifting place between the ocean of the unconscious and the real earth world. The place they come together shows the impact they have on each other– how our unconscious drives impact our realworld lives, and how our lives impact our dream life and healing.
Many people mistakenly think Pisces are floating without a clue, although PIsces are actually privileged enough to float in the collective unconscious, the childlike world where all is healed. Hopefully too, Pisces are wise enough to know the difference between LaLa Land and the tough real world. Just calling it LaLa Land is disrespectful of the energy of Pisces. The collective unconscious, or the waters of Pisces, are where we receive healing and balance. It is not the real world, yet it is a world we all share. We go there when we dream. We go there when we are creative. When we meditate. When we listen to music. When we watch a movie. Most of us are able to tell the difference between the movie we just watched and our lives. It’s a story. At the end, the curtain closes– back to real life. The story may be healing. It may be a release (cathartic). It may help us gain deep understanding and give our lives meaning. But we know it is not our lives. We are able to hold our disbelief in suspension while we watch and experience a film. That’s the gift of Pisces. You enter a zone that is suspended and is healing. Last call comes! You cannot stay there! But you can swim through. And benefit from the experience.
This website is also a gateway to other worlds and knowledge. You can’t live here, though you can visit. I can’t even live here! I also leave and go to work. We need to be adult enough to tell the difference between real and spiritual, to see the shoreline. That is what we mean by taking responsibility– owning our adult needs and choices. We don’t have to be conscious! So when we come here, we can suspend our belief and enjoy what it is– a dip into the healing pool. Yet as adults, we also need to keep in mind that someone actually sits and writes this blog that helps to keep us in astrological balance–every day. That is is a service of healing. And that the healer needs an income is also very real! Being able to graciously make that distinction can give you both worlds– the healing collective unconscious AND the nitty gritty real world of human endeavors.

Many of us know the meanings of the signs and planets and get a general sense when we hear the Sun has entered Pisces. It is like entering a dream state. But when it comes to an interpretation that can truly provide useful guidance, that can be lost…. It takes someone working with the material on a daily/weekly/yearly basis to bring full understanding. Without that, we may get a gist or a whiff, but nothing we can fully understand or use to our benefit.

As Mars continues to move Retrograde (backwards) through Leo, it creates an ongoing double Yod with Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter. And this Yod will stay in effect for about a month and a half — until Mars makes its Direct station and starts moving forward on March 10…. On Valentine’s Day, Venus (and the Moon) joined the double Yod. It’s a time when we can be tested to see how generous or greedy we need to be– and the results can be extremely karmic. Changey needs to happen. Hopey too. And if it doesn’t we need to look at ourselves, not blame others. So we can expect bigger problems! And from our big, positive thinkers, bigger and better solutions.

Many viewers tell me they use the free astrology sites to get their transits. This is great! We are becoming more astrologically aware, and more aware of our own behavior. There are sites that give you a long list of all your transits. If you’re really not busy, you can search around all day doing this! But here’s the problem. You see a long list of aspects. Cool! You start reading them. Ok, this one seems to pertain, and this one doesn’t. So you think, astrology isn’t all that accurate! However, it takes someone who looks at charts all the time to know if an transit is normal or something quite exceptional that needs to be noted. Without context or perspective, you don’t know if you’re even looking at the right transits!!! It could be that what seems like a BIG aspect makes NO impact on your chart. Or, a very small sesquisquare (135 degree aspect) to the Moon can snap you in half! It depends on what the transits are doing to your entire chart, your progressed chart, your solar arc directions, as well as all midpoints. It is especially helpful to look at a biwheel chart for the exact moment a transit perfects, called horary, and see how that chart reads both ways. Often, a transit that seems very promising on paper, turns out to be nothing much. Or, something “scary” is really a golden opportunity! When viewers ask me which reports they “need” and I give them a list, they think I am trying to rip them off. However, when I give a reading, I (or any astrologer) will look at all that material and much more. Reading a chart requires knowledge and focus. If you are relying on simple generic statements to answer your serious concerns, you are grasping at straws and can find yourself disappointed. Don’t blame astrology! There is a lot more to it than your sun sign horoscope or reading a list of transiting aspects. There is still no substitute for the perspective of an experienced human.
The Sun is transiting in Pisces. Time for all our hearts to grow a few sizes;-)))) All your wealth and treasures are yours and yours alone. But… if you don’t have the bank password, all that wealth is a nice thought that doesn’t buy anything!

Interesting chart observation: Mercury is and has been unaspected for awhile. The Moon made a quick sextile to Mercury yesterday, making it easier to connect both dots and people. But since Mercury has been in Aquarius and past the trine to Saturn, there are no major aspects it will make. Interpretation?!? It is really hard to make connections at this time. And, you can go to extremes of thought, since it is harder to find people to share your ideas and bounce them around.

In our “everything-costs-too-much” culture, things that are FREE are FUN!! What a relief!!! Yet, every time we get something for “FREE” someone did not get paid. Most of the “FREE” offers I get sound great– they are from smart marketers looking to sell me something VERY expensive– even after I bought something that I thought was expensive!!! Meanwhile, it can seem like I got enough information, even if I only got one small part of a big picture. Many of us are just looking for hints and clues to bring into our own meditations. Giving away things for FREE is a choice. It can also be stimulated by market competition. The current double Yod pattern including Mars, Pluto, Saturn, and Jupiter shows us that we may not GET everything we want directly. Since we are asked to pay more and more for our basic needs, getting something back for nothing seems like something we deserve. Yet, the attitude of deserving and expecting keeps us like children, looking for big people to take care of us. We are the big people! What about the gifts each of us can share. How can each of us give something, even indirectly, that makes a difference. Yet, it’s the people who care who will take this message seriously, and the ones who really don’t who will continue to blame and shame and make sarcastic remarks– not because they’re funny– it’s just how they operate and spiritual consciousness remains a “joke”.

Valentine’s Day is Sunday!
On the eve of Valentine’s Day there’s a New Moon in Aquarius (Feb 13). It is on the NEW MOONS that the power is released and we can affect true change. And at the FULL MOON we see the effects of the changes. Yet, we mostly ignore the New Moons because we don’t see them. So here’s a chart for the Aquarius New Moon:

New Moons are seed times. Energy picks up so we can plant new seeds that will grow. It’s a time to start new projects and let the energy move us forward. This is the New Moon in Aquarius, when we can connect to new networks, contact more people, get our new ideas out there. Yet, the New Moon only makes a conjunction to Neptune (and Chiron)– in other words, this is a good time to connect with a spiritual teacher. Or go to the movies! Ideas and insights can be great inspirations now, much more than emotions or feelings.
Astrologically, Venus has just entered Pisces (Feb 11) and will conjunct Jupiter (Feb 16) — more love!!! There are opportunities to melt with LOVE. But these are only opportunities! VEnus is also inconjunct Mars and Saturn– if you expect to “get” love, you can be disappointed as it slips through your grasp, once again. This is about the need to adapt. Before you point the blame elsewhere, what is the NEW MOON doing in YOUR chart? What is VENUS doing in YOUR chart? What do you really need? What are your feelings based on? Why do you attract what you do? What are you really putting out there???
Sales of reports that would actually shine a light on our very human complaints and help us find real answer (ie, Lunar Return, The Relating Potential Report, Hidden messages, The Love Forecast) are rare. We have free will. We just don’t want to have to make the effort to exert it. It’s not our fault, it’s the way we have trained ourselves to see the world, over long periods of time. When we take astrology with a “grain of salt” and think of it as “crap we can get anywhere” — that is our own resistance we have encountered! Finding someone or some situation to blame seems easier, and right. If you self-reflect, and you’re wrong, what then?!? Yet when blame doesn’t change anything and our ruts only get deeper, we still keep blaming and making the same excuses. For how long? 10 years? 20, 30, 40, 50… And what IS the price of not living your life? There is a daily cost. There is a lifetime cost. There is a world cost. Yet, resistance is part of the human condition. Awareness is a challenge we can choose to take on or neglect.
Valentine’s Day, the day of love and romance– ruled by planet Venus– finds planet Venus in a both the wonderful and somewhat uncomfortable position of being inconjunct Mars and Saturn– while approaching a conjunction with expansive Jupiter. Love is real and growing, love can be lucky. But it’s not a straight path. In relationships, respect is as important as love. You can realize how many ways being taken for granted erodes trust and downgrades the quality of important relationships. The need to “get over” can start to seem like taking advantage– are you in a loving relationship or looking for chink in each other’s armor, holes in your stories, ways to start fights. Or, you may feel like your relationship is only one way and it continues only due to your insistence and willingness to make more compromises and do more than your share. Wanting someone too much can throw off the natural balance of the relationship, especially if you are measuring how much you receive to make sure you are really loved. Or feeling you are not loved because your partner is not centered in the relationship in the ways you are. Awareness is half the challenge! As the Moon waxes — and Venus and Jupiter conjunct on Tuesday– you can start to make adjustments.

Did you know…. the #1 reaction to NOT knowing something is PANIC?!???! I would have thought it would be an interest in finding out, but our egos have to know everything already! So we FREAK OUT if we don’t know something. And in our market-driven world, this has translated into making everything as simple as possible so everyone understands. Yet, as the Moon cruises through Sagittarius today, some of us may wonder, what are we missing? What knowledge, information, and wisdom are we just not getting because we think we have to know it all already?!!?!? When did learning stop being a journey?
It’s a good day for finding your sense of humor and feeling some genuine optimism.
Friday night’s Last Quarter Moon can show some harsher realities and the bottom line can send you back to the drawing board… Does anyone really like you, or just what they think they can “get” from you? With a lack of deep commitment, tonight it can seem like getting over is more important than experiencing true passion. Yet– if you can be open to what is revealed tonight, you can unlock (yet another) key to your heart. On this Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio, it can really seem like it’s all about the money.

Wednesday was the midpoint between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox. Ground Hog’s Day, Candlemas, Brighid, Imbolc — are all holidays that note and celebrate the Winter-Spring halfway point. The days are getting longer, light is returning— yet we are still in the middle of winter. And as the Sun returns, the big question is: will winter continue or is Spring close? Astrologically, we can look at the exact halfway point, which is 15 degrees Aquarius. Here’s a chart for MidWinter 2010:
We are moving towards Valentine’s Day. Astrologically, Venus is conjunct Neptune. There are opportunities to melt with LOVE. But these are only opportunities!
