Did EVERYONE grab up those “you can make a fortune on the internet” eBooks? Never before have i received SO MUCH spam! No problem, I delete it all, but it shows me something about our culture, why things blew up, and what we need to know. And it’s this….
We STILL take NO responsibility for ourselves!
None at all! If ANYTHING goes wrong, we have a strategy. We blame.
And since blaming people who have NOTHING to do with our dilemmas does nothing to SOLVE them, our dilemmas continue. That DAMN person! It’s STILL ALL THEIR FAULT!!! And on it goes. More anger, fear, frustration. And all we need to do is wake up and walk out of it! Step up and take responsibility. Let go of being RIGHT (or left;-) and being willing to accept what is, even if it IS partly our “fault”.
We are NOT taking responsibility for our CREATIVITY. Yes, we are all creative in our ways. How did you get to this computer to read this? YOU created all of it. But thinking that the only way you can make a dime is to “get over” or steal is discounting the one thing you DO have. And that’s YOU. And in your rush to discount yourself, you also discount others, compounding the insult. So as our self-worth is discounted, so is our worth on paper and our ability to get credit (trust) for ANYTHING. If you’re going to send spam email, at least do something that honors you and your list. But instead, more and more and more and more junk!
