Solar Eclipse in Aquarius– all together NOW

Filed under: astrology, eclipse, new moon — Tags: , — inspiredastrology @ 10:31 pm

Solar Eclipse: “The Gift of Optimism”.

The Solar Eclipse occurs during the New Moon, when the Sun and Moon are conjunct the Lunar Nodes. This Eclipse is conjunct the North Node in Aquarius. It is also conjunct Jupiter. This is the “gift of optimism,” as we all receive the belief that together we can create meaningful change that will improve our future.

Can we transform our hope-filled beliefs into reality? Astrology says YES! as manifesting Saturn trines Mars and Mercury in Capricorn. We can build, but we have to plan carefully, without using our emotions to cloud the issues. There will be inconveniences (Jupiter-Saturn sesquisquare), but major, global change can feel natural at this Solar Eclipse.

Expansive Jupiter is conjunct the Sun and Moon at the time of the Eclipse, yet it does not make any other favorable aspects. And it’s not going to in the near future. So despite inner enthusiasm, there are few opportunities to extend your good will.

The approaching opposition of Saturn to the Eclipse ruler Uranus means there will be opposition to global reform from established and esteemed leaders. On a personal level, we can also be conflicted between the parts of ourselves that want to maintain the status quo and the part that wants change.

This is a time of freedom that is spiritual, karmic, and global. Only together can we take action that is meaningful and helpful. Yet, the desire to TAKE action comes from within each of us. Each of us need to feel encouraged to do our best, excited about educating ourselves, enthusiastic about sharing our ideas, and able to envision a better future. This Eclipse is about having the FAITH to create a better future.

The friends you make and the bonds you create during this Eclipse season can bring you success in the days ahead. As the planets continue their orbits, more of the planets will get to the point of the Solar Eclipse, which is 6 degrees Aquarius, 30 minutes. Jupiter arrives on February 2, Mars on February 12; Mercury on February 20, North Node on April 8.

This is the Solar Eclipse conjunct Jupiter– time to stop just long enough to give thanks! Express your gratitude for all you have and you can free your energy to reach even higher.

More to come as awareness makes itself known….

Despite AN AUSPICIOUS ECLIPSE you can continue to feel disappointed as long as you are asking the question– “what more can I get?” On this most auspicious Eclipse, it’s time to ask what each of us can DO for the world? Sounds cliched, but it was never more possible to DO something great and wonderful.

There is one string attached for this Eclipse to be wildly successful. And that’s EQUALITY. With Sun, Moon, and Jupiter conjunct in Aquarius, planet of the people, we are reminded of the importance of equality in our ultimate world success as a planet. If you want to emulate President Obama, read Lincoln, an Aquarian who championed equality. His birthday is coming!

I really wish I could predict the gloom and doom other astrologers are warning (so i could also seem like an “esteemed” astrologer)

Here’s something. I see a possible earthquake for the East Coast, especially NYC, or between NYC and Boston. And that would have serious repercussions worldwide. (I don’t say this lightly, living there and I doubt it will actually happen, it’s enough to have a new Senator who is not what she is labeled as.) Perhaps more wildfires on the West Coast, likely with Mars-Mercury just off the coast at Eclipse time, a hot Oscar season. But it really does look like money and jobs will start to return, although at a lower rate of pay as everyone “slashes” prices.

The only reason to predict nothing but doom is if you really do not want to change and cannot accept equality, as in a level playing field that includes the entire Earth. As viewers tell me often, they can “get it free from other countries.” To that all I can say is, we all better get used to outsourcing as a way of doing business. It works well for artcharts, as most donations to the site are from countries Americans think need their donations, like Mexico and India. Most people will go wherever a product or service is less expensive. Loyalty is not really possible in a free market world wide economy. You can see the same report I sell for less, buy it, and come right back and continue reading. No questions asked! Meanwhile, this site doesn’t make enough money to continue, and becomes yet another financial casualty. Some of us enjoy watching the demise of others. Yet, some of us realize it can be us with a pink slip and no job next Monday. Not quite as humorous then. But Jupiter in Aquarius reminds us to look for the humor in all our group interactions. So if you really have to be sole top dog, this can be one of your worst years ever. If you are into the group spirit, the sky is not your limit!

Inauguration Day

Filed under: astrology — inspiredastrology @ 1:44 pm

On Inauguration Day, the Sun enters Aquarius.

The Sun and Mercury meet at 0 degrees Aquarius.

While the Sun enters Aquarius Mercury leaves, traveling back into Capricorn.

As our new leader takes his position, the old leadership leaves, and along with it, the ideology that drove the leadership.

Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn gives us time to re-think government ideology and structure, down to the community infrastructure that forms the network that is government. This is new leadership from the grassroots– and each of us will have to do our part to make “change” more than a slogan.

Mercury is Retrograde also means it is time to get back to thinking. We have been in “dummy-down” mode for the past 8 years, shopping for bargains and giving our psyches the message we are only worth what is deeply discounted. Maybe that’s not true. But we will have to consciously get our minds moving again. But we can do that too! The Sun-Mercury-Jupiter are conjunct and there’s a Solar Eclipse coming that will also include the Moon-the people. ONLY all together can be create meaningful change. And that starts with THINKING. “In the beginning there was the WORD.”

Astrologers have noted that the Moon is Void of Course at the time Barack H. Obama will be sworn in as the 44th President of the US. Astrology tells us this means “nothing comes of the matter”. What this MEANS is that CONDITIONS MUST CHANGE BEFORE THERE IS CHANGE. The Moon represents all the people. If most people think that a new President can change everything without them doing anything, they are likely wrong. Change means change, it doesn’t mean that things stay the same. If we, collectively, are not ready for change, it doesn’t have to happen. If we are expecting others to do our work for us, if we just want to have fun and go shopping, pay lower taxes and lower prices for everything, we are not likely to see much of a change.

The Moon is Void of Course (VOC) in psychological Scorpio. Here, we see below the surface of what people want us to know about them. Here we see the group fears, what we hide from others. As a group, there is collective guilt about the past and fear about the future. These are issues we need to work on if we are serious about creating a better world. And the Void of Course in Scorpio tells us it is time to release our resentments and grudges so we can move ahead.

Scorpio rules banking and money that is shared, as in large amounts of money. The Moon VOC in late Scorpio also tells us we need to fix our banking crisis before anything else will change.

To interpret the Moon Void, we look to the last aspect the Moon made. In this case, it is a square to Neptune, showing us that achieving our dreams is a challenge. It is not promised that there will be a change. We have only said we, collectively, through our voting, want a change. Yet, if we want a President we can enjoy socially, we may not be electing capable leaders. We chose what we have now. Before we can change it, we have to own up to it. We WANTED someone who was kinda like a real guy. We WANTED his social policies (I say “we” collectively, personally I wanted none of this and warned about it long before anything happened, artcharts is THAT OLD:)

The Void-of-Course Moon gets a negative interpretation from Horary astrology, which looks at things from a past-tense perspective. We are looking to the future, and the Moon at the very end of Scorpio at the time of the Inauguration is telling us that more inner understanding needs to occur BEFORE we can share our optimism and good feelings with the whole world. We are excited, the future really can be brighter. Yet, we all have work to do. We can’t just pawn it off on whoever will take it. Expect, demand that others do our work or we will blame them and take out whatever negative feelings we have on them. We’ve done that for 8 years. That attitude leads to debt and ruin. If we want to rise again, phoenix style, we have to take responsibility. Each of us. We can’t call each other names. We can’t blame because it’s easy. Excuses are easy to find, and hard to stop making. Yet, that is what needs to happen for the change to become real.

The Moon continues to move to the end of Scorpio, and the ceremony is still going on. The last minutes of Scorpio, we become clear within ourselves, we release the ego that prevents us from being open to each other, and together, we enter Sagittarius and make glorious aspects to ruler Jupiter along with the Sun and Mercury! All together!

And we see a further meaning of Mercury Retrograde, as even Obama is delivered his lines out of order and has to say his name– twice.

To everyone commenting on this article, thanks, it’s great! I do NOT have time for a full chart delineation now, but i’m glad you have comments on it. First, and this is really important, this is NOT personal astrology, it’s world astrology, what’s happening for everyone. It’s truly political astrology. So the meaning of the houses is slightly different. The 10th rules government, 11th rules the Congress. So all the planets in the 10th show the ascendancy of a new government. It’s not about Obama’s ego. The gathering of power planets in the 10th shows the coalition the Democratic party has formed around their new leader.

The position of Mars does not show ego, in Capricorn approaching a trine to ruler Sarurn, it shows the ability to focus energy and get down to business. Or up to business. This is an important time to make a commitment to what you’re doing, whoever you are. And especially the new President in this chart who has the opportunity to direct and reshape society.

Mercury Rx was the cause of the do-over. It makes complete sense as Mercury retrogrades back in exacting Capricorn that the President would want to re-do the errors in the Oath. As I mentioned in the comments, Obama stated his name twice, interrupted Justice Roberts because Roberts made an error and that threw the Oath off course. Obama knows this Oath well, he is a constitutional attorney. So it was done again so there would be no questioning. This is a perfect example of Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn, the sign of rules and cultural leadership.

Mercury Retrograde on January 11

Mercury Retrograde Reminder! Saturday is the Full Moon in Cancer and Mercury makes a Rx station on Sunday, January 11.

The steps to manifesting your goals may be clear. Yet, astrological aspects indicate that it will help to be patient and carefully examine our infrastructure— as within, so without.

This year gets off to a start that seems to say, it’s business as usual. While Mercury is Rx, Saturn stationed Rx on New Year’s Eve, and the Inauguration happens while the Moon is Void of Course, there is MUCH MORE to be optimistic about than dispairing! Whatever we are rushing now may take longer than planned, especially if we have to rebuild. Yet, the potential benefits are AWESOME, and taking BIG steps can make a world of difference. We are rebuilding deep, inner infrastructure– as withOut, so withIn. This is serious business and it takes focus. But we are willing BECAUSE we care enough to put more energy into understanding problems. We are starting to realize just how much we can do when we decide to DO it! When we honor the process, and take it one step at a time, we start to move mountains.

This Mercury Rx is the time to actively prepare, get organized. You can meet people who will give you support and new ideas. By mid February, anything is possible. Stick with it! This is the faith-as-substance part of the process! Get Mercury Rx details on artcharts

Mercury is Rx in Aquarius, going back into Capricorn. We are poised and ready to make progress, but before we get too far ahead of ourselves (symbolized by Mercury getting too far ahead of the Sun), we have to reexamine how things are built from the inside out as Mercury moves from far-sighted Aquarius back into Capricorn right after the Inauguration. Don’t stress! This is just part of the process of actually changing. Jupiter is in early Aquarius, so this Mercury Rx period is framed by a Mercury-Jupiter conjunction. It’s happening. We ARE creating the change we want. We can make major leaps in world affairs. We can visualize success. It will just take some awareness and the willingness to be conscious so we, as a group, can get along in a way that is balanced and respectful and plentiful.

Since Mercury rules communication, and is moving between Aquarius and Capricorn, this is a great time to think about how we communicate with groups. How effective is the way you communicate with other? Do you get your needs and goals met in a way that preserves and even increases good feelings? Is what you’re saying necessary? Does it have to be said? Is it kind? Is it helpful? You may also find that working with a group will take extra attention to detail and there can be seemingly endless re-dos as everyone has changes they need to make. It will help to keep the big picture in mind, remember WHY you do the things you do, not just the details.

2009- the year to TAKE IT BACK!

Filed under: astrology, saturn, saturn retrograde — inspiredastrology @ 11:48 am

I’d like to tell you what I mean by “Take it Back”.

Take it Back is not yet more Palin’ style slogan slingin’.

It’s a message from Saturn for our ultimate progress in the year ahead.

This is the year that leadership will change. As a society, we are taking back our government.

On New Year’s Eve, Saturn made a Retrograde station. This concerned many of my friends and viewers. “Uh Oh!”

But as long as you see Saturn as the big bad monster, you are not going to change and you are not going to take it back! Saturn represents The World. Saturn is about structure. And the message of Saturn’s Rx station on New Year’s Eve is that it’s time to re-examine the structure of our world. It’s a mess right now. We are complaining about the economy, about wars, about rising prices, the failing infrastructure. To change all that, we are have to step up and take responsibility. Our current style of leadership leads by W-hining — if you don’t get what you want, Whine, complain, also point fingers and blame. It’s good to be conscious of existing problems. But then it’s time to take the next step. Just complaining has gotten us into an economic mess! We OWE, and we don’t think we should owe. We have accrued debt, and we don’t think we should have to pay it.

If you really mean it when you say you want change. If you really want to be successful in a positive way, viewing success as a big amorphous monster you can’t touch is not going to help. You have to DEFINE your success. What does it look like? Describe it. With more detail. This is Saturn in Virgo, the detailsy= help you visualize a better life.

But Whinin’ and Blamin’ is going to keep you and everyone you contact in any way STUCK. And that’s because it just shifts the energy back and forth with no resolution. The resolution comes from within. You have to be quiet and still to hear it. Your inner still small voice is what it is, quite literally. It is not going to shout at you. Ever. Because you have free will. You can make mistakes. You can even make mistakes that negatively effect large amounts of people. It’s ok. Or– you can take it back. You can start to take more responsibility for how your life IS RIGHT NOW. How much of your life is great? How much is not? That is the percentage you have to change– IF you want to be more successful and fulfilled. Not me you say? May i kindly remind you, there are NO second rate citizens. Not one. You are all bright stars. Yet, it is up to you to shine.

You can have what you want. You can enjoy good health, more freedom, more friends, better relationships, more love, more involvement, more business, more family time, great adventures and vacations, and how about more happiness!? And not just in your mind– in your bank account as well.

Wishing it is a good start. Everything starts with an intention. And then you have to make plans. While Saturn is Retrograde in Virgo, this is the year to be specific about your goals. Write them down. What do you want to be doing a month from now? 3 months from now? By the summer? fall? Winter? by 2010? 2012! It’s very close. Research your goals. Get serious about who you are and what you have to share. Figure out how you can DO what is in your mind. Because you can.

To a JOYOUS 2009! Because Joy is what makes it all happen.
