Today’s Astrology Horoscope (for all signs)

Uranus changed signs overnight, along with the FULL MOON.
It was still a jolt to see URANUS at 0 ARIES in my StarSprite program this morning!
Where I live (NYC) thunderstorms accompanied the Full Moon and Uranus’ grand entrance into Aries. How fitting, but the weather usually is.

Uranus enters Aries on Thursday, May 27. But it doesn’t stay in Aries. Uranus will Retrograde back into Pisces on August 13 and will enter Uranus again on March 11, 2011. Then Uranus will proceed through Aries until 2018.

Any GROUP that is set in its ways to the point of refusing to open to the NEW, faces EXTREME challenges.

This is just the opening BELL. By the end of the summer (as Uranus slips back into Pisces) it may seem like it’s all clear– you made it. But this is just a first wake up call. The proposed changes are not really going to disappear. This time has been spoken of as the “end of times” by religion and by science as it tells us global warming is not only real, it’s happening. Stopping the flow of the ages is like trying to cork the ocean. It’s just not something that any individual person can do. Yet, it’s something that every individual has to do, as we are all part of the whole.

We seek to clarify. Yet, in our focus on clarification, we lose tolerance for complexity. We want our information in sound-bites. If it doesn’t fit, it’s “too much information.” This sacrifices deeper meanings and shades of uncertainty, seeking. experience. It makes us vulnerable to sound bytes that sound good, without thinking it through. What are the consequences? Does it matter as long as we can eliminate confusion and sound good? When Uranus returns to Pisces this summer/fall/winter, we may get one last glimpse at what we are sacrificing to keep it simple. If we all have to believe in the same short sound-bite, that makes us vulnerable to mental manipulation. But here i am going on… again….

I had started a discussion about fundamentalism and intolerance, but the intolerance is beyond my capacity to address. Yet, Uranus is on the ingress of Aries. Someone else has done a far superior job And so I share with you today’s NY Times Op Ed by Tenzin Gyatso, the Dalai Lama

For enlightened, perfected people, the problem is we don’t stay in the state of perfection. We attain it, we lose it, we attain it, we lose it. It’s a cycle. And for those who find it offensive to mention anything other than you are always completely correct in everything you do and say, you are right, there is no point in doing this kind of work. Go enjoy yourself! Horoscopes are made for everyone, and you can hide under your bed or do whatever they recommend. For us students of the archetypal movements of the planets, we are missing out (on my observations and analysis). The Mars-Neptune opposition speaks VOLUMES to the oil spill, within an without, but we are perfected, so we already understand everything. Yet if we ARE perfected, why is MOTHER NATURE giving us this message of poison?? Ok, that’s it! I promised not to say a word and here i am going on again….
