Heliocentric chart watch!

When it comes to ECONOMIC concerns, especially the world economy, the heliocentric chart, which is from the Sun’s perspective, gives a less biased picture.

Heliocentric Saturn squares Heliocentric Pluto: June 11, 2010
Heliocentric Saturn opposes Heliocentric Uranus: September 2, 2009

Tropical Saturn squares Pluto: August 21, 2010 (just once)
Tropical Saturn opposes Uranus: November 4, 2008; February 5, 2009; Sept 15, 2009; April 28, 2010; July 27, 2010

We (everyone who keeps asking when the economy will improve) have been waiting or this moment: the culmination of the Saturn-Pluto square, while Saturn and Uranus oppose. The heliocentric Saturn-Uranus opposition already occurred (Sept 2, 2009), and will occur tropically on July 27. The tropical Saturn-Pluto square is not until August 21, so this defines the summer months, especially in financial terms. It doesn’t look like a free flow of corporate money or government assistance.

Saturn-Pluto shows a sharp curb on spending, and especially difficult relations between government and corporations. Since corporations are formed to make dividends for their shareholders, they are not geared to helping people if there is no profit in doing so. That’s the job of government. That’s why we come together to create governments that govern, regulate, and structure society. And we join together in corporations to earn money. But if we are expecting corporations to take care of our needs, regardless of whether or not they profit, we are in for a challenging time.

Saturn square Pluto is not sympathetic. It doesn’t care about taking care of others or being kind. It cares about power and doing whatever is necessary to gain more power. This may not be the most comfortable or easy way to go, but Saturn square Pluto doesn’t care about comfort or ease. Many people may be willing to do whatever it takes, including being unethical or immoral, to get have the life they think they should have. And since this square finds Pluto in Saturn’s sign of Capricorn, that makes effects felt with additional power. Especially in business and passionate love, if you are not sure of someone’s honesty, you just may be right.

  1. Thanks for the blog post. I have started reading about heliocentric astrology so far it is interesting. I was wondering if you could guide me about some courses and software that can enable creating heliocentric charts.
    Thanks,

  2. Most software will let you calculate Heliocentric charts. I’m not aware of courses or books just about heliocentric, but check astroamerica.com for pro astro books. financial trends often show more in heliocentric than geocentric (earth-centered, or regular) charts.
