The perception that people who work in spiritually oriented fields “should work for free” or they are “bogus” is imbalanced to the point of manipulation. Here’s why. A person who is all about the world and has no interest in spirit is imbalanced in a physical way. They only see what they can have in the material form and have no interest in other realms. This is an imbalance.
It is equally true for the person who is only in the spirit realm and not grounded in the physical. That is equally imbalanced. True spiritual pursuit integrates the physical and the spiritual. Learning about the spiritual informs every action we take every day. Integration is key, it is crucial for living a happy, balanced life. And not every minute can or has to be happy. Sorrow, loss, mourning, are all part of this life. To forget that is imbalanced, and creates dysfunction.
In my current metaphysical studies (working towards a MS degree in metaphysics, still..) in “Living the Tarot”, author Amber Jayanti states this about the Temperance card: “The Angels’ stance, one foot on the earth, the material world, and one in water, the spiritual world, shows you that by the daily integration of the Rules and Tools of the Game of Life, balance and wholeness occur. It is by engaging with life in a balanced way that you progress beyond the extremes of either living a completely worldly life — without thought of spirits’ worldly purpose. Wholeness is experiencing the spirituality of the material world while simultaneously reognising that material things and daily situations are spiritual instruments.”
So we need both. It is not wrong to support or purchase from a site like artcharts.com. It keeps me working. And this is a full time job– without spending that amount of time, there is nothing for you to be interested in! Nothing new to read. And that could be ok. Life moves on. There are many things gone from this physical world that we will never see again. And that’s the cycle of life.
