Jupiter square Pluto

Jupiter will make it’s Retrograde station on July 23– only 2 minutes of arc from an exact square to Pluto.

The square becomes exact again on February 25, 2011. However, at Jupiter’s Rx station, Jupiter and Pluto are only 2 minutes of arc from an exact square!

Jupiter will start to move back into early Aries and then into Pisces (September 9 – January 22) — all the way back to 23 Pisces 30.

So what does this mean?

Fanaticism.

Whatever the group believes, everyone has to believe. Or else!!!

Philosophy and religion, arrived at by inner work and understanding, will be increasingly used to manipulate and control. If you are approaching religion/spirituality from your ego’s need to be right and maintain control, this negates a truly genuine religious experience of anyone but the chosen few. We can tend to forget that the ego does not control our spiritual lives, and use the ego to enforce certain beliefs while forgetting the personal journey that gives religion it’s underlying meaning. Before we tell others what they MUST believe, what is happening within each of us? Not doing our inner work and telling others what they must believe can come off as false, The will to power negates love, so religion without love looses its gift. This is a call to become more genuine–without going too far and becoming overly greedy or idealistic about what we can achieve. We can be so tempted by the potential for abundance, we can forget about integrity and do whatever it takes to win big and get over. This can lead to even greater challenges including legal problems and bankruptcy.

This square can call on us to clarify our beliefs. What gives us faith? Besides the potential for a better and better and better life sometime in the future in some other place, what do we actually have, here and now, that we can benefit from? How can we live with our truth– without twisting it to appear bigger and better so we are better than everyone else. Without trying to take control or take it all, what do we really have to share?

Busy Sun!

The Sun is busy! It is square Uranus and trine Neptune and Jupiter (and Chiron).

You can do something MONUMENTAL. But you can also be fooling yourself.

You can trust in your vision, but you may not feel supported in making it real. You can feel that many friends and associates may not agree with your ideas and insights. Or you with theirs. You are sensing something larger, but is it just a dream?

Trines can make things easy. It can be easy to believe, yet the (on-going) conjunction of Jupiter-Neptune suggests that beliefs can get confusing, disappear, mystify, or inspire.

And Jupiter has just stationed Retrograde, so exaggerated expectations can be deflated, but why believe that now?!??!!!

Mercury squares Jupiter and Neptune: cleaning up the dream

Mercury square Juptier
Mercury square Neptune
Mercury square Chiron
Jupiter stations Retrograde

The square of Mercury and Jupiter-Neptune-Chiron can show us something interesting– how our attitude is based on judgments, and how those are not always correct.

Many of us have something we really like to do, something we’re really good at. Maybe we’ve developed it, maybe we haven’t. But when we see someone who is DOING it, many of us get DARK. It’s so hard to see and admit this, we don’t even dare to think we can share something we enjoy. Some cover it with harsh judgments of the people who are doing what they “could” have, “should” have done, if only things were different. Some people haven’t pursued their dreams because of family or work commitments. That’s a valid choice! We all make choices, no one can do everything all the time. Not owning our choices can find us blaming others for making the choices we WISH we had made, but felt we couldn’t at the time for whatever our reasons. It is never a waste of time to raise a family! And many people return to their careers-of-choice after raising their families. Instead of seeing the second Saturn return as the end of a career, it can be the start of yet another level. But to discourage hopefuls just because we feel we should be in their position, is not healthy for anyone. It hurts people who are striving. And it also hurts you by denying your dreams. To free up more energy, leave off the excuses. If you really don’t have time right now to do your dream life, that’s ok. Admit it. Release it. Being clear about it can help you make plans that will allow you the time you need. When I paint or write astrology, it can “just come”, but that’s rough and needs polish. The normal amount of time it takes me to really complete a painting is one month. An article takes me at least a week. It’s ok not to have that kind of time. I don’t always either. Blaming others diminishes your energy; owning your choices adds to your energy level. What if the mistake you perceive isn’t even a mistake and you’ve already jumped into sending bad energy or making bad choices.

This is a very appropriate time for REPETITIVE STRESS INJURIES to return. It’s a message. Slow down. Sending negative energy, like sending positive energy, creates ripples of energy, and that creates your karma, or return energy. If you’re really oblivious, you may not even realize it. If you’re conscious and trying to be aware, you may feel it quickly.

daykeeperjournal.com asked me to write articles for them. I came up with a great idea the editor loves. It’s super timely and would make a great read. But, writing an article takes time, thought, energy, research. I also have to make choices.

Why is this square so dicey?

Because it happened at Mercury’s Retrograde station and now again as Mercury is Direct. This is the time to use what we’ve learned. Our generosity, symbolized by Jupiter in social Aquarius, is being squared by a cautious Mercury in Taurus. How will you spend your resources? This Mercury reminds us of practical considerations.

Jupiter is also stationing Retrograde (official beginning is June 15). This period is often very optimistic, followed by a reality check that can take us down a peg. Or 2. Sometimes we’re just moving too fast and are so focused on the BIG picture, we miss important details. This can be one of those times.

As Mercury squares Jupiter and Neptune, a study was published where scientists prove that people mostly use poor judgment and their decisions are often against their own best interests. The timeliness is noteworthy. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=104803094

Wishing you a nice day:-)

mars conjuncts jupiter and the north node: is this really the beginning?

On Valentine’s Day, when the Moon was in Libra, the 7th sign, Jupiter was aligned with Mars. Some sites said this was the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. The DAWN is the very beginning, and as astrologers have noted, Aquarius is not necessarily a sign of peace.

And Mars-Jupiter is known for many traits, but making peace is not strong among them. It’s more like a brave warrior who wants to fight to prove their self-worth. Or a bubble asking to be POPPED!

Everything that happens now can be exaggerated.

While Jupiter is generosity, Mars cuts, so they’re conjunction also cuts feelings of generosity, and funding for generosity. Massive numbers of people are getting laid off now, literally having their wages cut to an unemployment check IF they’re “lucky” (Jupiter) and their states are not bankrupt or on the verge. Publishing, ruled by Jupiter, is feeling the effects as multitudes of editors have recently lost their jobs.

Mercury-Mars-Jupiter-NorthNode in Aquarius at Oscar time made international films the big winners of the year. And, since Aquarius also rules homosexuality (really, absolute equality between the sexes), the academy was “homoloving” enough to pick Sean Penn over Micky Rourke, as Saturn, ruling aging, isn’t all that involved in this chart.

Our collective philosophy of “manifest destiny” or, collectively pretending we are better than everyone else– is being shown for what it is. The past. “manifest destiny” may seem to give us the world, yet because we are “supposed” to have it all, we have no gratitude for what we have. And gratitude raises your vibrations, makes you happy and keeps you moving forward. Gratitude makes you a happy, functional person with great ideas and an open mind. Lack of gratitude cuts all that out, leaving you wondering, why you don’t have more. It cuts any access to your own source of ideas. Yet, since you feel no appreciation for what you already have, you are left with a kind of blank, like your bank account may be starting to look.

It is time to get past the numbness. And there’s good reason for numbness, it’s covering something that might be painful.

The dawning of the Age of Aquarius is a time of transition. It’s no longer dark, yet it’s still not fully light. Transitions are times of crossing over towards change. We are at the time limit of one phase, yet the next is not fully developed yet. And while we say we want change, we are resistant and defensive to anyone who suggests anything new or different. There’s a moment when we have to let go without being certain of the future. And that’s a scary point. Yet, doing it and getting to the other side is real and empowering. Truly awesome.

Mars may lower prices and cut jobs. Since all aspects are relative, this is good and bad, depending on your perspective. If real estate prices continue to rise, who could afford to even RENT an apartment? Nevermind buy? Sure, there are plenty of stockbrokers and investment brokers, oops, not so much anymore. The 300 sq ft apartments in my (tenement) building in Manhattan have been renting for around $2300 a month. They have a granite countertop. Which added $500 to the monthly rent. After 7 vacancies, the price has come down to the bargain rate of $1740 a month. And that’s the cheapest it’s been in about 10 years. So come live in NYC! Why is NYC so great? Anytime you get yourself all up in your ego, feeling good, looking great, and you go outside anywhere, someone is going to let you know “you ain’t all that.” It’s a constant reality check. Sometimes too much, hence the love-hate NYers feel.

Venus, planet of love and money, is making a helpful aspect to transiting Mercury-Mars-Jupiter as she sextiles from Aries. And since Venus is about to station Retrograde (March 6-April 17), this will continue to happen over this spring. What you are now rushing past you may come to value and appreciate a lot more, once you get down to it!

To your abundant prosperity,
