With so much going on astrologically, I’ve been posting Moon and other planetary updates on artcharts facebook page. Stop by and see where the Moon’s shining!

Sunday. The Moon is still void in Cancer until this evening. Good time to do some thorough cleaning– within and without. Either way can help reveal the other. Even if it seems that nothing comes of your efforts, clearing the dusty build-up can help you shine brighter as the Moon enters Leo tonight. Clean down to the shine!

This was a busy week! As Mars made its exact conjunction to Saturn, it was also square Pluto, and opposing Jupiter-Uranus— and the Jupiter-Pluto square was exact on Tuesday, August 3.

This is not the last time Jupiter and Pluto will square. Since Jupiter is Retrograde and will square Pluto again in February, 2011. You may need to give something up, or transform something, in order to continue to grow and develop. There may be some tough decisions– what to pick and what to let go. Jupiter may want to wait and see…. after all things may be better tomorrow, or next month. Yet, if you really can’t give up anything you’ve gained, the debt can still continue to grow. To the extent that we are inflated with our own importance, we may need to develop a new personal philosophy that helps us self-reflect in a positive yet honest way.

The Last Quarter Moon in Taurus wants to hold on to ALL its gains, and the Sun in Leo is sure it deserves all that and much more. The idea is to have it all– and be able to pay the bills!

Mars is now in Libra, where it joins Saturn and squares Pluto and opposes Jupiter-Uranus (now conjunct at the beginning of Aries).

It can be an impulse, but this can be the week you make a MAJOR change!!!

The T-Square to Pluto is exact– Jupiter squares from one side, Mars from the other. This is extreme pressure.

You may reject someone— or they may reject you. If you reject someone– yet expect them to stick around as a doormat, just in case you need to vent, but just as you get comfy in that arrangement, they can shape shift and morph out your control this fall and winter. Who are you really SO angry at?? If you’re really angry at someone you are more than likely to alienate them (with long lasting bad feelings) this week.

Mars is acting up and down this weekend, here’s the in-depth Deep Astrology.

This weekend, Venus enters Libra and does exactly what Mars did earlier this week. Then Venus and Mars conjunct, but that’s next week.

Venus first. As Venus enters Libra on Friday (Venus’ day of the week) August, 6, she approaches a conjunction with Saturn (just into Libra at 01Libra28) and Mars at 5Libra01. This is a tight threesome! It’s not an exact mathematical midpoint, however, Saturn is contained between Venus and Mars, and all 3 will be visible in the evening sky. If visibility adds to their influence, this threesome is caught “with their pants down!” Much like the myth of Aphrodite and Hephaestus, another Saturnian figure of Greek myth who caught his beautiful wife, Aphrodite (Venus) making love with the god, Ares. Here again we have Venus and Mars, separated by Saturn. And this time they are in opposition to Jupiter-Uranus and square Pluto. We are at a crucial point!

Since venus, Saturn, and Mars are in Venus-ruled Libra, the feminine part of each of us has a major role to play. That means we need to consciously become more cooperative. Subtle sneering and suspicion only keep the hate alive and thriving, stopping progress and goodwill. Not everyone really wants progress and good will, or realizes what they have to do to create it, so until more of us are truly aligned with a more peaceful purpose, we will continue to play one side against the other. Getting “rid” of your shadow doesn’t mean shutting it up in teh basement! It means being able to look at it. The courage has to come from within first, or you’ll never believe it from anyone else.

As our positivity bubble grows, we get very cranky if anyone mentions anything “negative.” Yet, there are tough aspects, challenges, discrepancies, difficulties throughout life. We can cover them up since they’re not socially acceptable or fun. but they can continue to grow as the “shadow” and undermine our efforts until we have the positivity and courage to look at them. As PLUTO is the focal point of this T-Square from all the social planets (Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn), the role of corporations (Pluto) intensifies. Do we, as a public, really in our deepest core, only trust corporations? Is the era of individuals doing anything outside a corporation basically too expensive to continue? NYTimes- “Net Neutrality”. This could change your online life.
